Daniel Bwala, special adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on policy communication, has dismissed concerns over recent criticisms from former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, asserting that the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains strong despite internal differences.
Speaking in an interview with TVC News from 00:52, Bwala emphasized that El-Rufai’s recent comments about the government should be viewed in context, arguing that political alignment often influences public statements.
The words of Bwala at some point during the interview read, “our party is strong, so you isolate El-Rufai. There has to be a context to every situation. The question you refer to, I asked him, and I said, My elder brother, would you have expressed it if you were in the cabinet? You know he will not. Because when he was running against Jonathan in the sense of we were coming together as opposition, everything Jonathan did, he criticized.
He further added that, “when Buhari came to power, everything he did was perfect. Some of these things that he is criticizing were okay because he was in government.
