‎‎The National President of the Arewa United Consultative Forum (AUCF), Alhaji Shuaibu Dansudu Ado, has expressed strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during an interview with The Sun on Sunday, 27 July, 2025.

‎He said the president will prove his commitment to Nigeria’s progress within the next two years.

‎Dansudu believes that Tinubu’s government is working hard to fix the problems left behind by previous administrations.

‎He said that soon, Nigerians will begin to feel the results of the efforts being made by the current government.

‎As preparations for the 2027 general elections begin, many political parties are talking about forming coalitions to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

‎Ado reacted to this trend by questioning the real motives behind such alliances.

‎He said most of those forming coalitions today are the same people who held power in the past.

‎According to him, these politicians contributed to the nation’s problems, including rising debts and poor leadership.

‎Ado argued that the coalition is not formed in the interest of Nigerians, but only to return these individuals to power.

‎He said many of them were not given appointments in the current administration and are now trying to fight back by joining forces.

‎He added that the Tinubu government had chosen new and fresh hands to lead the country in a better direction.

‎That, he said, is what the former leaders are unhappy about.

‎Ado stated that Nigerians are now more aware and will not be misled by those who caused damage in the past.

‎He believes the coalition will not succeed because the people can see through their intentions.

‎”There is one fundamental question we must ask when political parties decide to form a coalition. That is: what is the motive behind the alliance? Are they going into the alliance in the interest of the people or is it for their own selfish interest?

‎Nigerians are wiser now; they know their motive is to return to power and continue to wreak havoc on the nation but God will not allow them because they will not succeed,” he said.
