Pastor Paul Enenche, founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, recently shared a testimony about divine authority and deliverance during a sermon on YouTube.

Recalling an event from 23 years ago, Pastor Enenche described encountering a violent young man who had been restrained with chains and locked with four padlocks. Despite these restraints, the man still struggled fiercely. His mother, standing nearby, pleaded for help, saying, “He is my only son, and he is mad.”

Moved by compassion and divine confidence, Pastor Enenche gave a simple command: “Leave him.” The men restraining him hesitated but obeyed. He then instructed them, “Loose him.” They hesitated again but began unlocking the padlocks one by one.

As the young man’s bleeding hands were freed, Pastor Enenche looked into his eyes and said, “Sorry.” The young man, to everyone’s shock, responded, “Thank you, sir.”

At that moment, Pastor Enenche led him in a salvation prayer, and the man repeated each line with clarity. Finally, he declared, “I am not mad. I cannot be mad.” Pastor Enenche then turned to the mother and said, “Carry your child.” Instantly, the once-violent man stood up, adjusted his shirt, and left in his right mind.

Reflecting on this miracle, Pastor Enenche revealed that just moments before the encounter, he had read Luke 10:16: “He that heareth you heareth me.” He realized that when he spoke, the devil heard Jesus speaking. This revelation solidified his understanding that divine authority operates through God’s servants.
