The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stark warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to take immediate action to secure his communication devices against potential hacking attempts.
In a recent statement, Ayodele cautioned that there would soon be a conflict linked to the president’s phone, stressing that malicious actors were actively seeking to compromise it.
“And mark my word, there is going to be a conflict that the president work on his telephone,” Ayodele declared. “They want to hack the president’s phone. It’s a warning.”
The popular cleric, known for making political, economic, and security prophecies, said this was not an ordinary caution but a serious matter that could have national implications if ignored.
“This is not about politics or popularity,” Ayodele explained. “When I speak, it is because I have seen something ahead. The president must fortify his communication channels, work closely with intelligence agencies, and ensure that there is no loophole for enemies to exploit.”
Cybersecurity analysts say that while the Nigerian presidency likely operates under strict digital security protocols, the threat of high-level cyber intrusions remains a constant global concern. A compromised device at the highest level of government could potentially lead to breaches of classified information, diplomatic setbacks, or national security crises.
Ayodele, however, stressed that his warning was both spiritual and practical. “Hacking is not only a technological act; it can be influenced by unseen forces. My message to the president is simple: be vigilant, strengthen the firewall around your phone, and never dismiss a divine alert.”
He further advised that the presidency’s security apparatus should “run advanced counter-surveillance measures” and “avoid any complacency in an age where digital espionage is becoming more sophisticated by the day.”
“Technology is a tool, but it is also a weapon,” Ayodele said. “Leaders must treat every device they use as a potential entry point for their enemies. I have done my duty by delivering the message; the rest is in the president’s hands.”
While the presidency has not yet responded to Ayodele’s remarks, his warning has sparked conversations among political observers and cybersecurity experts about the need for enhanced digital safety at the highest levels of governance.
