During an interview with Arise Television, Chizzy Enyi, a lawyer and political commentator, made a bold declaration regarding President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, revealing that efforts are underway within certain political circles—including the APC—to challenge his hold on power. Enyi’s comments have sparked reactions, especially given his current role within the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State.

He pointed to earlier comments made by former Governor Rotimi Amaechi on the same platform, where Amaechi reportedly questioned Tinubu’s competence. Enyi stated that he not only agrees with Amaechi’s stance but is also aligned with a broader coalition seeking to remove Tinubu from office.

According to him, “Amaechi said he would want to join the coalition, just quote and unquote. Amaechi said, I do not like President Tinubu because he does not have the capacity. And it was on your studio. Amaechi said it, and you people never queried him on why he said President Tinubu does not have the capacity. Even on my own side, I aligned with him. Hence, I am also of the coalition, and we’ll take a stand that will oust Tinubu from the office. That is our position; it does not mean that we don’t have a political party; I am a member of the APC. In fact, as I speak with you, I’m the chief of staff to the state chairman of APC in Rivers State.”
