Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of late afrobeats singer and songwriter, Promise Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba known professionally as Mohbad was recently on the “Brekete Family Show” and he spoke about a lot of things.
While speaking during the show, Mr Joseph Aloba revealed that when the Corona court told him that they couldn’t ascertain what really killed his son, he was devastated and that he broke down in tears immediately.
Mr Aloba revealed that he wasn’t satisfied with the results of the autopsy, so he immediately wrote to the court to grant him permission to carry out a private autopsy.
He further stressed that the court has now finally given them the go ahead to carry out the autopsy but he’s looking for who to assist him financially.

“The Corona court told me that they couldn’t ascertain what really killed my son, Mohbad and I was really devastated, I broke down in tears immediately. I now called one of my friend in the United States to inform him about the results of the autopsy and he said no, that in America even in 100 years, if they see a bone, they will detect the day that the person died. So from there, I said no that I can’t accept this, it’s not acceptable”.
“So I called my lawyer and told him that I’m not accepting the results of the autopsy, and we have been begging to carry out a private autopsy since March, we wrote to the court on numerous occasions to give us permission to carry out a private autopsy but they did not grant it then. But they have given us the permission to go and do the private autopsy now which I’m still looking for who’s going to help”, Mr Joseph Aloba said.
The host of the “Brekete Family Show”, Ahmed Isah then went ahead to assure Mohbad’s Father that he shouldn’t worry about the cost of the autopsy that they will cover all the bills.
