He highlighted the importance of transparency and accountability, emphasizing that the people of Kaduna deserve to know how public funds were managed.

“Again, I wish to commend the Kaduna State House of Assembly for the probe of the finances of Kaduna state from 2015-2023. The people of Kaduna applaud and appreciate your courage and patriotism,” Sani wrote. He assured the Assembly of the public’s support in their efforts to recover any looted funds, regardless of the individuals involved.

Sani’s statement also addressed broader concerns about the economic impact of alleged financial mismanagement. He condemned the “economic asphyxiation” of Kaduna State, the “impoverishment” of its people, and the “strangulation” of the future of its children due to what he described as “mountains of opaque and fraudulent loans.”
