Darlington Umoru, a security expert, has voiced strong concerns about the activities of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) in southeast region.

In a video shared by TVC from 15:14, Darlington Umoru stated that various security reports indicate the Eastern Security Network (ESN) has been involved in numerous violent and criminal acts in the Southeast. He noted that there have been cases where the ESN targeted and killed men and women from the Southeast solely because they served in the military.

In Umoru’s words: “When ESN was created, what we were told that they were going to be doing was to help their people that were suffering in the hands of kidnappers. But eventually what have we had? Often times they have denied their involvement in insecurity in the southeast but we have seen arrests over time and we have seen situations where confessions were made. We have seen where even women because they are serving in the military were slaughtered; husband and wife who are south-easterners, not other tribes”
