According to a recent video by Sahara TV, anger continues to mount among party members in Eti-Osa over what they call a systemic recycling of political power among elite families. Protesters at a recent demonstration declared, *“We are not slaves. We cannot serve parents and still serve their children.”

According to the protesters, party leaders are sidelining grassroots contributors in favor of privileged candidates with political lineage or foreign backgrounds. “We campaigned, we mobilized voters, we risked our lives, only to be told we don’t matter when it’s time to choose candidates?” one said.

The protest was triggered by the emergence of a candidate perceived to be the child of a political heavyweight. Members alleged that while this candidate was missing during campaign efforts, her name suddenly appeared on the party’s official list.
