According to Daily Post, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has expressed strong opinions on the ongoing political developments in Nigeria, particularly regarding the coalition being formed by prominent figures such as Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, Aminu Tambuwal, and others. He believes that the coalition is doomed from the start, as none of these politicians possess the ability to improve the country’s situation.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele argued that the politicians involved in the coalition are misjudging the situation. According to him, supporting figures like Atiku, Peter Obi, and El-Rufai would lead Nigeria to further stagnation, with Atiku potentially pushing the country towards ruin and El-Rufai’s leadership resulting in the country’s downfall. The prophet suggested that it would be better to let President Bola Tinubu continue in office, as he believes he is the one capable of rectifying the state Nigeria is currently in.

According to him, “in fact voting for Obi will make Nigeria to be stagnant, Atiku will take Nigeria to mortuary and when you give it to El Rufai, Nigeria will just be buried.”

Primate Ayodele further pointed out that several governors within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been compromised and are likely to switch allegiance to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the lead-up to the 2027 elections. He mentioned that key states such as Akwa Ibom, Enugu, Oyo, Osun, and Anambra will likely be negotiated for APC, with some PDP governors expected to fully defect before the election.

The prophet’s assertions reflect his belief that the PDP is unraveling, with the governors no longer fully supporting the party. He noted that the concept of the PDP governors’ forum is no longer relevant, as most governors are now working in favor of the APC, which he claims will affect the party’s chances in the next general elections.

Ayodele offered a stern warning to President Tinubu, advising him not to become complacent. He suggested that there are three key individuals who must not contest in the 2027 elections, as their participation could jeopardize Tinubu’s chances of securing a second term. He indicated that the president’s re-election is contingent on these figures not joining the opposition coalition.

Primate Ayodele also outlined three critical actions that he believes President Tinubu must take before the elections in order to ensure his victory. He emphasized that Tinubu can only overcome the opposition if he addresses these crucial steps and prevents the three influential figures from joining the coalition against him.
