Prof. Zacharys Gundu, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mkar in Benue State, recently discussed President Tinubu’s decision to establish the Ministry of Livestock Development. He stated that the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), led by Baba Usman, had presented a list of demands to the top four presidential candidates before the election.
Speaking in a video recently shared by Channels TV from 10:08, Gundu said Baba Usman stated that they would only support the candidate who agreed to fulfill their demands. He said MACBAN claimed that herders had up to 16 million registered voters and promised these votes to the candidate who would meet their needs. He said he wants Nigerians to understand that MACBAN had a deal with the current administration.
Gundu said “Usman boasted then that herders had registered up to 16 million voters and they will give this votes to the person who will do what they wanted. I want Nigerians to know that they had a deal with the current government”…..Seë_Morë
