Eniola Ojajuni, president of the Afenifere National Youth Council, has reacted to the killing of some hunters from the north in Uromi, Edo State.

Speaking at an event covered by Sahara Reporters TV from 9:41, Ojajuni condemned the manner in which the hunters were killed by a mob in Uromi. He stated that when northerners are killed in the South, as seen in the Edo incident, northern leaders and groups often respond strongly. However, when a young girl, Deborah Samuel, was killed in the North, there was little to no outcry from those same leaders and groups.

Ojajuni said every Nigerian life matters, no matter where the person comes from. He called for fairness, understanding, and a united approach to stopping violence everywhere in the country.
