On Tuesday June 17, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump said he is no longer interested in discussing a peace deal between Iran and Israel.

He shared this in a video posted by Iran International after returning to the White House early from a G7 summit in Canada.

Trump expressed disappointment over the violence and mentioned that he had previously told both sides to agree on a deal.

He pointed out the damage in Iranian cities and the loss of lives, stating that he is currently not in the mood to negotiate.

He also denied claims that he had contacted Iran, stating that those reports are not true.
