In a recent video from 04:15 on Facebook, Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has raised fresh concerns over global tensions and their potential economic impact on Nigeria, warning of an imminent surge in fuel prices and a broader geopolitical shift.

Speaking during a recent address, Ayodele predicted that efforts by U.S. President Donald Trump to build alliances in the Middle East could backfire. “Mr. Trump will form a coalition of Arabs to fight Iran. When they try it, they will regret it,” he said, cautioning against escalating conflict involving Iran.

The cleric stressed that the situation is more complex than many observers realize. “You don’t see this war. You don’t see what is in this war. Is this not getting more difficult?” he asked, pointing to rising uncertainty in global affairs.

Ayodele linked these developments to Nigeria’s economic outlook, particularly in the energy sector. “Petrol is not getting higher? If this one exceeds two weeks, Nigeria will suffer. I’m telling you this week, next week,” he warned, suggesting that prolonged instability could quickly translate into domestic hardship.
