Lawyer and one of the chieftains of Labour Party, LP, Kenneth Okonkwo has reacted after President Bola Tinubu and the Vice President, Kashim Shettima travelled out of the country.
His reaction was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Saturday.
His statement is coming following the tanker explosion that claimed many lives and injured many people in Jigawa state.
Speaking about the incident, Kenneth Okonkwo said the President and the Vice President are out of the country while the nation burns. He said it is insensitive and incompetent.
Kenneth Okonkwo said one can conveniently say that there is no government in Nigeria right now.

“President Tinubu and his Vice Shettima are out of the country on a jamboree. Tinubu went for a holiday and Shettima went for a conference while Nigeria burns. This is insensitive, incompetent and beyond shame. One can conveniently say that there is no government now in Nigeria”.
