Buba Galadima, the spokesperson of the former governor of Kano state and candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, in the 2023 presidential election, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has stated that Emir Ado Bayero belongs to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
This statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of CHANNELS TV on Monday, August 18, 2025.
Buba Galadima made the statement while explaining the reason why the former governor of Kano state won’t be supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election in 2027.
In the report that surfaced online, he accused the ruling APC of causing unrest in Kano state.
He said there are some places in Kano state today that if people’s items are stolen, the police won’t do anything.

“They have their Emir. They have not less than 40 pickup vehicles filled with mobile police guarding the Emir (Ado Bayero). In some localities in Kano, they are killing people and taking their handsets and the police are tied down”.
