The former Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has spoken about some of the things that are happening under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was contained in a report that was posted on the official X handle of THE CABLE on Thursday. This is coming after he resigned from his position as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s aide. In the report that surfaced online, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to run in the next presidential election.
He said he should stop thinking about contesting in the next election and focus on making his current tenure worthwhile.
He said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sidelined the South-East, South-South and the North-East regions based on his appointments.
He was quoted as saying that;
“The East remains politically disengaged, while the South-South is fragmented. The South-West has been lukewarm, and its privileged position may become a burden. The North-East is deeply wounded and can no longer be taken for granted”.
