‎‎Former Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, has warned that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may not last beyond one term in office, as reported by Daily Post on Sunday, 31 August, 2025.

‎Dalung, who is a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made this known in an interview.

‎He said Nigerians are losing patience with both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

‎He stressed that failure to deliver good governance could push the people to embrace alternative political movements.

According to him, President Tinubu may eventually find himself preparing to return to Lagos in 2027 if things continue this way.

‎He pointed out that many citizens are frustrated with economic hardship, rising insecurity, and what they see as poor leadership.

‎He added that the mood in the country suggests that Nigerians will soon demand a fresh political direction.

‎The former minister dismissed Tinubu’s past remarks describing the ADC as a camp for displaced politicians.

‎He insisted that the ADC is growing stronger and is ready to surprise many during the next election cycle.

‎Dalung explained that the party is not just a minor opposition group but is building a nationwide movement with credible plans.

‎He further revealed that the ADC has been engaging stakeholders across different regions.

‎He said the party intends to present credible candidates in 2027 who can challenge both the APC and the PDP.

‎He also noted that Nigerians are now searching for leaders who can bring real change and restore trust in government.

‎“Tinubu may come to the conclusion that he should be preparing to return to Lagos by May 29, 2027.

‎The ADC is not just another minor opposition party. We are building a movement that will shock even the most doubtful Nigerians,” he said.
