Alhaji Asari Dokubo, Chieftain of the Kalabari Kingdom, stated that President Bola Tinubu needs to reflect and ask himself certain questions. He asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should ask himself if this is the democracy he fought for. He made this statement in reaction to the Rivers State crisis between Minister Nyesom Wike and Governor Sim Fubara.

Speaking further in the video from 20:36, he stated that the way President Bola Tinubu dealt with the Rivers State crisis is contrary to what Tinubu stood for in the past.

According to him, “Is this the democracy you fought for that you are supporting a man to take over Rivers State? That people decamped from their party you celebrated that you couldn’t reject them, and today they say they have not decamped. Is this the democracy you fought for? Is this the June 12 you fought for? President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must be able to ask himself that.”….Sée Móre
