According to a video posted on the Official YouTube channel of SYMFONI from 15:09, while discussing the opposition’s fate, Kenneth Okonkwo stated, “Tinubu is going to go the way of Jonathan in 2027, He will lose the election, and ADC will form the next government.” He emphasized that the second term election is essentially a referendum on the current administration’s performance, prompting Nigerians to question whether their lives have improved since the 2023 polls. The analyst firmly believes the current economic hardship will directly translate into electoral defeat for the APC.
Okonkwo dismissed the widespread concern that Nigeria is sliding into a one-party state, immediately countering the worry by affirming the African Democratic Congress, ADC, is already a viable and solid opposition platform.
