According to a viral video that was posted on the official X account of Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization on Wednesday, the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi has sent a message to those planning to rig the upcoming governorship election in Edo state.
Peter Obi, in the viral video stated that the Labour Party wants the election to be free and fair. He said anyone who tries to rig the election will be rigged. The former governor of Anambra state said that time of rigging elections in the country is over.
According to Peter Obi;
“We want this election to be free and fair. Time of rigging elections in this country is over. Anybody that Tries to rig this election, we will rig him. Every day, Nigerians are suffering and we can not continue that way again. That is what the Labour Party wants to change. Olumide Akpata is not just our guy, he is our governor because we know that he will perform”.
