Moses Paul, one of the aides of the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP, candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi, has reacted after sharing a photo of Obi giving food to people in Imo state.
This was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
His statement is coming after the former governor of Anambra state was criticized for the act.
In the post that Moses Paul shared on his page, he said many people were surprised by what Peter Obi did because they don’t really know him.
He said despite being a prominent figure, Peter Obi still does some house chores himself. He said what he did at the event in Imo state was a normal thing for him.
He said Peter Obi is the kind of leader who loves to serve.

“Those who truly know him, including those who visited him when he was governor or at his private residence, know he lives without a house help. He sweeps, serves, and sets his own table. It is not an act. It is his life. That is the discipline of leadership”.
