Victoria Abosede, a mother of two children who travelled through the desert to get to Libya, said that they were packed like cows at the back of the truck they entered. She said some people fell off the truck during the journey, while some people died.
Talking about why she decided to travel to Libya, Victoria said it was just to become a great person. She said she had plans to return to Nigeria and venture into a business of her own with the money she gathered. According to her, she met the agent through her aunty, and she was hoping to pay the agent’s money within a year.
Victoria said the journey she went on was a desperate one, noting that she spent a month and two days on the road before they got to Libya.
According to reports by the Punch News, Victoria said, “I started the journey from Kano State in a Hilux vehicle. They packed us like cows at the back of the truck; some people fell from the pickup truck on the journey, and people were dying.
