Kidnapped victim Gbolahan has shared a terrifying account of how he was ambushed by armed men while managing his farm.

Speaking on the Glitch Africa Studios podcast from 7:29, he detailed the frightening events of the day, highlighting the dangers faced by those working in remote farming areas.

Recounting the attack, Gbolahan said,

“I saw Bororo boys. They told me to stop with guns and immediately I knelt down and raised up my two hands. They collected my cross bag and I had N80,000 cash with me that I wanted to pay to workers in the farm that day. They collected my bag, my farm boots and every other thing.”

He explained that the attack happened suddenly, leaving him no chance to escape or call for help. Gbolahan quickly complied with the assailants’ instructions, aware of the grave risk of resistance.
