The Lawmaker representing Borno South Senatorial District, Senator Ali Ndume, has expressed concern over the political future of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.

During an interview with Channels TV, Ndume expressed surprise and confusion over the decision to bring in the sitting governor of the state, Sheriff Oborevwori, and designate him as the new leader of the APC in the state.

He questioned the fairness of the move, especially considering Omo-Agege’s significant contributions and dedication to the party in Delta.

He noted that despite Omo-Agege’s efforts to maintain the APC’s presence and unity in Delta State after his defeat in the gubernatorial election, he has been sidelined.
