The former Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Chad Wolf has alleged that the illegal immigrants in the United States break the law and commit criminal activities in the country. hee highlighted the significant challenges of immigration and border security under the Joe Biden’s administration.
He cited estimates indicating that there are over 20 million undocumented immigrants in the United States. He noted that the number of individuals who have entered the country illegally, including those who are considered “gotaways,” is substantial. He identified securing the border as the top priority for President Trump and mentioned that while the deportation plan is a key component of this strategy, it is part of a broader framework of policies and procedures that need to be implemented.
He said in an interview with Fox News from 2:10, ‘The number that was cited to us during the Trump administration was 11 to 12,000 immigrants. The number of folks that have come in over the last four years, the number of gotaways and others, is huge. When you talk about the illegal alien population in the United States, they are over 20 million. I think securing the border is the number one issue for the President. And certainly the deportation plan is part of that, but there’s a whole element of policies and procedures and actions that probably should be taken that his team is most likely looking at.
How do you secure that border from physical infraction? You’ve got to look at all the parole given out over these last four years. But the deportation plan is certainly a big part of that, because that’s about holding individuals accountable. They break the law and commit criminal acts in the United States, so It’s time to remove these folks.”
