In a powerful message delivered through a video shared on Facebook, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has stirred political waters once again with a prophecy that could shape the narrative heading into Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.
The popular cleric, known for his bold and often controversial predictions, declared, “These names that I’m looking at, if these people come out, they will defeat Tinubu.” Ayodele’s statement comes amid growing political tension and speculation over who will emerge as the key challengers to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next general election.
Although Ayodele did not list the specific names in this particular video, his recent messages have frequently mentioned a potential coalition of strong opposition figures, including Bukola Saraki, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Aminu Tambuwal as possible vice-presidential picks. He also hinted at a “giant” southern political figure who could lead the coalition to a landslide victory if the right alliance is formed.
According to Ayodele, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is at risk of losing power due to what he described as spiritual signs of declining influence and growing public dissatisfaction with the current administration.
“This is not about hate or personal interest,” he clarified. “It is what I see spiritually. If APC doesn’t wake up, a coalition of opposition forces will take over in 2027.”
Ayodele stressed that the momentum is already shifting behind the scenes, with one of the major challengers “gradually emerging.” He believes that if the opposition unites under strong leadership and makes strategic choices — especially when selecting a vice-presidential candidate — Tinubu’s path to re-election will become significantly more difficult.
He urged Nigerians to pay attention to the political movements happening now, as they may shape the outcome of the next election.
The cleric’s latest message adds to a growing list of prophecies and political commentaries pointing to a fierce and potentially transformative electoral battle in 2027 — one that may defy traditional party lines and long-held assumptions.
