The Defense Minister of the State of Israel, Israel Katz while visiting the Philadelphi Corridor, a belt of land on Gaza’s border with Egypt, reacting to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, and Palestine-backed militant groups including Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthi, Islamic Resistance of Iraq among others, declared that there would be no Hamas rule, and no Hamas military in the border, stressing that the Israeli regime would create a new reality at Philadelphi Corridor.

According to the Israel Times, the Defense Minister of the State of Israel, Israel Katz, said, “Israel will not cede security control over Gaza. We will ensure that security control is in the hands of the IDF, which will be authorized to act anywhere to prevent threats. We will make sure there are security zones, buffer zones, and strategic posts, which will ensure the security of towns. There will be no Hamas rule and no Hamas military. We will create a new reality here, thanks to the daily fighting, which is continuing even now.”
