Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, has stated that his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, struggled with drug addiction and exhibited troubling behavior during their marriage, according to CHANNELSTV on Sunday November 9 2025.
In a post shared on social media, Senator Nwoko recounted several incidents that he described as emotionally draining. He said Regina left home on multiple occasions and didn’t return until the following day, casually claiming she had been at a nightclub. He also alleged that Sammy stormed his residence in anger after his girlfriend was asked to leave, calling the confrontation aggressive and disruptive.
Senator Nwoko said he endured these challenges for the sake of their children, but the situation became increasingly difficult due to Regina’s erratic behavior and lack of accountability.
Nwoko said, “There were at least two serious incidents where she left home and didn’t return until the next day. When asked, she casually said she was at a nightclub. I took so much nonsense just for the sake of the kids.
He further claimed that Regina’s siblings frustrated her rehabilitation process, making it nearly impossible to address her addiction.
