In a defiant message, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has underscored his unwavering belief in the ultimate triumph of the “believers and Mujahideen” despite the military and financial superiority of what he refers to as the “Zionist enemy.”
In a statement posted on his verified Twitter account, Khamenei acknowledged that Israel possesses vast resources, including money, weapons, and a global propaganda system, but stressed that the true victors are those who fight in the name of God.
The Supreme Leader’s remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, where Israel has faced ongoing conflict with Iranian-backed groups like Hezbollah. Khamenei’s statement paints the ongoing struggle as a battle between material power and spiritual faith, emphasizing that Israel’s considerable resources pale in comparison to the resilience and commitment of those he calls “the Mujahideen,” fighters who are on the path of divine justice.
“The opposing side, the believers and the Mujahideen who fight on the path of God, don’t have even a hundredth of those resources,” Khamenei stated, contrasting the vast military and technological capabilities of Israel with the perceived humility of its adversaries. Nevertheless, he firmly proclaimed that the fighters driven by faith are destined for victory, framing the conflict as not only a political or military struggle but a religious and ideological battle.
