Oby Ndukwe, Editor-in-Chief of Beam Newspaper, suggests that former Governor Nyesom Wike’s recent silence during the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State might stem from intervention by higher authorities or a deliberate strategy to await court rulings.

In an interview video with Arise News from 17:29, Ndukwe remarked that Wike’s recent quietness contrasts with his usual outspoken nature in press interviews.

Ndukwe implied that Wike might have received advice from the President or other authorities, considering his current role as an aide.

Ndukwe also suggested that Wike’s silence could be a strategic decision to await court rulings on the matter.

Meanwhile, Governor Fubara’s increased outspokenness has surprised many, revealing a different aspect of his personality.

In Oby Ndukwe’s words, she disclosed saying, “The Wike we know by now would have been granting press interviews and all that but for some time now, he has been quiet. It could be possible that he has been asked to. The President had intervened, he has spoken to them and of course, he is an aide to the President, He’s no longer Governor so he he’s under an authority.”……Sée Móre
