In a bold statement posted to his verified Twitter account weeks after a U.S.-declared ceasefire ended the Iran-Israel conflict, Khamenei said, “The US attacked Iran, and our retaliatory strike against it was very significant. God willing, once censorship is removed, it will become clear what Iran has truly done.”
The remarks follow a period of intense regional conflict triggered by a U.S. airstrike on Iran’s nuclear sites during the war between Iran and Israel.
