He criticized the ethnicization of governmental appointments, asserting that it fosters division and discontent. He argued that fairness is crucial in governance to cultivate support and trust among the populace. He stated that when people perceive unfair treatment, it diminishes their sense of belonging and cooperation. He expressed hope that the President would address these disparities by restructuring his cabinet.

He said in an interview with Channels TV From 33:08, ”What the constitution says is that you must have at least one minister from a state. And that is why some of us from the South East are saying that these are the things that brings up all this sense of alienation from the people bof the South East. At the moment now, you have about 50 ministries.

And so the question has always been this ethnicization of different things, it doesn’t aug all well for the country. One of the essential things is dealing with people is always to try to be fair and when people perceived that you are not fair, you cannot engender a sense of support from them.
