According to the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, the police team carried out the operation in the early hours of October 11, 2025.

The police have since intensified efforts to track down the fleeing suspects through coordinated surveillance and intelligence operations.
Adeh further noted that the successful operation underscores the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property across Abuja.
She urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movements or activities to the nearest police formation.
