A prominent supporter of Senator Natasha, Abdulrazak Mahman, has claimed that the effort to recall the Kogi Central Senator originated from former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello’s residence in Wuse, Abuja.
In a revealing interview with Arise TV, Mahman disputed earlier reports about the location of a critical meeting: “The proposed issue of recall started from a meeting in a glasshouse; they called it a stakeholder meeting. You have to recall that, in fact, they were saying that it is the Aso Rock where they had the meeting, but that is not so; it was in Benghazi, and we know who lives in Benghazi. The order for the recall of Sen. Natasha started from Benghazi, in Yahaya Bello’s house.”
Suggesting insider knowledge of the operation, he added: “We have the records, and there are moles inside their camp. This is political, and this is a political terrain; information is there. In fact, whatever the former governor is doing today, it takes only two to three minutes for us to get the knowledge of it.”
Mahman further alleged that Bello’s motivation stems from frustration with post-gubernatorial life, claiming the former governor aims to secure a Senate seat for himself by orchestrating Senator Natasha’s recall.
