Following the recent report that the administration of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu had approved localized humanitarian pauses in Gaza to facilitate aid delivery in an effort to address the current humanitarian dire situation in Gaza, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir had condemned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government after being excluded from critical security talks that approved daily humanitarian pauses in Gaza.

According to a report by the Jerusalem Post on Sunday 27 July, 2025, the National Security Minister of the State of Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, called the latest decision of the Israeli regime, which allowed increased aid into the besieged enclave a surrender to the deceitful campaign of the Palestinian nationalist Sunni Islamist political organization, which is known as Hamas that endangers the Israel Defence Forces.

He also revealed that he learned about Saturday night’s high-level security consultation only through a Prime Minister’s Office leak, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of sidelining him on a pivotal decision, stressing that the alternative way Prime Minister promised was just capitulation.

In his words, Itamar Ben-Gvir said “On Saturday night, I was informed by a source in the Prime Minister’s Office that during the Sabbath, a security consultation was held without me in which it was decided to increase the quantities of humanitarian aid entering Gaza. Such a plan is a surrender to Hamas’s deceitful campaign and endangers the lives of IDF soldiers. It turns out that the alternative way is to surrender to Hamas and its deceitful campaigns.”

“This path distances the return of the hostages and, above all, distances the absolute victory in the war. The only way to win the war and bring back the hostages is to completely stop the humanitarian aid, conquer the entire Gaza Strip, and encourage voluntary migration,” the Israeli official declared.

The Israeli Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir went further to reject both ceasefire talks and humanitarian measures, demanding even harsher tactics. He also emphasized that the only way to win the ongoing conflict with the Palestinian nationalist Sunni Islamist political organization, which is known as Hamas, was to completely halt aid, occupy all of Gaza, and encourage voluntary migration.
