Senator Shehu Sani, a renowned human rights activist and former federal lawmaker recently criticized the public spat between the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike and Dele Momodu, a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he called on them to show some decorum and decency.

Dele Momodu, the founder of Ovation Magazine and PDP Chieftain was dragged into a social media controversy after videos of him having a meal in Rivers state government house went viral across various social media platforms.

The videos which infuriated the Chieftain, was swiftly countered as he shared derogatory footages of the alcoholic content of his former ally and close friend, Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State.

The confrontations however, sparked public outrage as many condemned the antics of the two political heavyweights amid the formation of an opposition coalition against president Tinubu.

Reacting, Senator Shehu Sani, an outspoken former federal lawmaker in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, criticized the public spat between them.

According to his statements, the minister’s decision to show the footage of Dele Momodu eating and food particles drooling from his mouth was unnecessary.

He further criticized the PDP Chieftain for equally sharing the liquor content of the minister’s wine. He concluded by calling on them to show restraint as the younger generation was watching.

“The minister went low to even describe how Bob Dee eats and food coming from side of his mouth and Bob posted on the liquor content of the minister. Haba, let’s have some decorum and decency from the two senior citizens. The Gen Z are watching.” He wrote.
