On Monday, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu took to his official X account to state that corruption will continue to eat Nigeria for breakfast, lunch and dinner because accountability anchored in rule of law does not exist.
Kingsley Moghalu said in Nigeria, the judiciary is gone. He said the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC only runs after Yahoo Boys while the Nigeria Police Force is too busy with regime protection.
Kingsley Moghalu said it is time for millions of Nigerians to stand up for a cleaner country.
According to Kingsley Moghalu on his X account;
“The judiciary is gone. The National Assembly, well, what to say? EFCC runs after yahoo boys and other inconsequential petty criminals. The Police Force is too busy with regime protection to investigate the mega-corrupt politicians and functionaries. So it’s up to the citizens, one way or the other. They either stand up in the millions for a cleaner country, if they are not themselves too poor and illiterate to be compromised by corrupt politicians. This is a huge challenge”….Vìêw–Morê
