Deputy spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Honorable Philip Agbese has reacted to the House of Representatives Committee’s approval for the purchase of new presidential jets few days ago.
Recall that the House of Representatives Committee on National Security and Intelligence had 4 days ago, recommended the acquisition of new aircrafts for both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
According to CHANNELS TV, such recommendation is contained in a report which was released after they carried out an investigation into the status of the aircraft in the presidential air fleet.
And so Honorable Philip Agbese on speaking about such issue during an interview video with ARISE TV, disclosed that such new aircraft is needed for the protection of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In his own words, Philip Agbese mentioned that;
“Mr President is a citizen of this country and as a citizen, we owe it as a responsibility to ensure that every citizen is protected in one way or the other. The aircraft for President Tinubu is needed for his protection, we consider it to be for national security and the well-being of the country.”…..Sée Móre
