The Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi has taken to his official X account on Friday to share the tweet that former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili made in 2017 about price fixing for FX and fuel.
In the tweet, the former Minister of Education said repeating price fixing for FX or fuel ultimately produces same inefficient outcome.
“How difficult is it for CBN and well, the FG to see that repeating price fixing for FX or fuel ultimately produces same inefficient outcome”, she said.
Reacting, Temitope Ajayi said right now, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili should be one of the chief defenders of the policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because she is one of the super advocates.
According to Temitope Ajayi;
“Here is what one of the famous experts who wanted the CBN and FG to get out of fuel subsidy and forex price fixing wrote as far back as year 2017. Dr. Oby Ezekwesili should be everywhere now, mobilizing support for President Tinubu for having the courage to do the right thing. Right now, Dr. Oby should be one of the chief defenders of these policies as one of the super advocates”.
