In a recent statement via his official X account, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has called on Nigerians to unite in defending the country’s sovereignty against what he described as foreign threats of invasion.
“Whatever your views and whichever side of the divide you stand on our nation has now been threatened with war and it is incumbent upon all sons and daughters of Nigeria to stand firm, prepare for it and defend our sovereignty and every inch of our sacred soil. We may not have their weapons or money but we have God. Trump will not survive the wrath of the God of Nigeria and he will surely fail.
To be sure this is not about @officialABAT or his Government: it is about our fatherland and our people,” he wrote.
In his passionate message, Fani-Kayode said it was time for every Nigerian to stand firm and protect the nation’s territorial integrity.
He warned that external powers had issued threats of war against Nigeria and that citizens must be ready to defend the land with courage and faith.
The former minister said Nigeria may not possess the military strength or financial power of foreign nations, but it has divine backing.
He declared that any attempt to attack Nigeria would fail because God would fight for the country.
According to him, the current situation is not about supporting or opposing any political leader, but about standing together as Nigerians to protect the fatherland.
He said that if the country were attacked by foreign mercenaries or forces, Nigerians must be prepared to defend their women, children, faith, and dignity.
Fani-Kayode condemned what he described as the arrogance of some Western nations, insisting that Nigeria would never bow to foreign intimidation.
