Prophet Joshua Iginla, the founder and senior pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, recently delivered a powerful message urging believers to move beyond religious sentiments and embrace a broader perspective on relationships.

In a YouTube video, Iginla warned against the dangers of limiting one’s interactions based on religious affiliations.

“Poverty of relationship! Oh God, he must be a Christian before I deal with him. That’s why you are poor. Some of your destinies are tied to a Muslim who will open the door,” Iginla declared. He emphasized that such restrictive thinking hinders personal and spiritual growth.

Iginla criticized the tendency to judge others based on religious practices, such as speaking in tongues or belonging to a particular church. “Stop this religious thing that eats up your head, making you think that if somebody is not speaking in tongues, you can’t shake hands with them. This is why we are where we are,” he stated, urging his audience to focus on the essence of their faith rather than outward expressions.

The prophet highlighted the irony in questioning someone’s faith before engaging with them, noting that such behavior limits potential opportunities and connections. “Which church are you from? Are you a communicant? Are you baptized? Are you confirmed? That’s all we talk about in destiny. Religious sentiment is infinitesimal. God can tie your destiny to a Muslim. He can open the door and sign that contract for you,” he explained.

He also emphasized that Christianity should be viewed as a relationship rather than a religion. “The world does not revolve around your religion. Your religion is not the only holy religion on earth. And hear me, Christianity is not a religion; it’s a relationship between a father and a son,” Iginla concluded.
