Dorothy Njemanze, a human rights activist and founder of the Dorothy Njemanze Foundation, has spoken about the issue of baby factories and a recent police raid on one of them.

Speaking in a video shared by Channels TV from 21:33, Dorothy disclosed that many of the girls used in these operations do not have a choice. She revealed that some of them are paid for their services, but others are kidnapped and held against their will. She explained that these girls are kept in confinement and forced to give birth. Once they deliver a baby, the child is taken away from them, and they are immediately subjected to further abùse to make them pregnant again.

Dorothy emphasized that these girls are survivors of severe exploitation and need support and protection.

In Dorothy’s words: “The people who are used as carriers many times don’t have a choice. In some cases we have heard where people are paid for the services. In other cases they are abducted and kept in a place and they are just used to pròduce babies. Once they deliver a baby the baby is taken away from them and people start sl*eping with them again just to get them pregnant. So they definitely are survivors”
