The former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung has reacted after the former governor of Akwa Ibom state and current Senate President, Godswill Akpabio said Abuja has started looking like London.

According to VANGUARD, the Senate President made the statement while praising the MInister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

However, Solomon Dalung has now reacted to the statement that Godswill Akpabio made.

Speaking on Arise TV on Friday, the former minister said the area where he lives in Abuja does not look like London. He said limiting progress to the elites alone is not ideal.

Solomon Dalung said in FCT, many people support themselves with boreholes because there is no water.

Here is what Solomon Dalung said;

“If the Senate President is feeling like he’s in London, it could be the London of his own immediate environment. I think there is misrepresentation of progress and limiting it to the elites alone or priviledge class. It’s unfair. In Abuja, I know there’s no water”.
