Naja’atu Mohammed, a member of The Concerned Northerners, has spoken about the killing of 16 hunters in Uromi, Edo State.
In a press statement covered by Symfoni TV, Naja’atu said this was not the first time northerners had been wrongly attacked and killed in the South. She said the north has more population than the south but despite all the attacks on northerners in the south, the people in the north continue to treat southerners living in the north well.
Naja’atu also said that many southerners live and do business freely in the North. She said they make money, grow their businesses, and are treated well by northerners without being harassed or harmed. She stressed that the killings must stop, and all Nigerians should be treated equally, no matter where they come from. She said, “In all of these incidences, the north restrained itself even as they are far more larger in population than southerners”
