A prominent Niger Delta activist, Anabs Sara-Igbe, has launched a profound critique of Nyesom Wike’s political journey, emphasizing the importance of humility and divine appreciation.

“Since 1999 till today, he has been fed by government,” Sara-Igbe declared during a Symfoni TV interview, highlighting Wike’s continuous dependence on state resources. “Since 1999 till today, everything he has is government.”

The activist stressed Wike’s ordinariness in a broader context, stating, “He’s not the only person in Nigeria; he’s not the only person in River State. Neither is he the only Ikwerre man.”

Sara-Igbe then pivoted to a spiritual interpretation of success and humility. “If God has been so faithful to you, one would expect that he will honor God, worship God with humility,” he said, noting that “Our Lord, the Almighty God, distastes pride.”

Concluding with a philosophical reflection on life’s transient nature, the activist observed, “This world is not our world. We all came and we are passing through it to a land we don’t know how it looks like.”

His final counsel resonated with a message of gratitude and ethical conduct: “When you are privileged, you should appreciate God, thank God, and do what is right.”

The comments offer a deep meditation on success, humility, and spiritual perspective in public life.
