Former Nigerian senator, author, playwright, and human rights activist, Shehu Sani has expressed that It has never happened in the history of Nigeria whereby a country will freely construct 500,000 housing units for the masses.
The former Senator made the statement in a post he shared via his official X page on Monday.
Accrording to Premium Times, Qatar has commenced the construction of 500,000 housing units for less privileged residents of Kaduna State, North-west Nigeria.
The Mega Economic City project was officially inaugurated by Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Ali Bin Ghanem Al-Hajri.
According to the post Shehu Sani shared, he said Qatar’s Kaduna 500,000 homes for the less privileged is commendable. Sani praised Kaduna Governor for pulling this unprecedented housing infrastructure.
