One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama suspended the Chief Justice of Ghana.

His statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday. In the post that Shehu Sani shared on his page, he said the Ghanaian President has done what the former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari did when he assumed office.

Senator Shehu Sani stated that he’s waiting to hear what the Economic Community of West African State, ECOWAS, will say concerning the matter.

Here is what Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his official X handle;

“President Mahama of Ghana suspended the Chief Justice of Ghana, Gertrude Torkornoo, following the footsteps of President Buhari who also took similar action against Onnoghen few years ago. I’m waiting to hear the position of ECOWAS on this”.
