Former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker and renowned human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X handle to react after it was reported that popular anti-protest personality, Yunusa Yusuf widely known as Buhun Barkono died in an Abuja hotel on Saturday. According to his statements which drew widespread attention from the general public, he pointed out that the circumstances surrounding his death does not take the fact that he was an audible voice and campaigner for his generation away.

The death of Yunusa Yusuf also known as Buhun Barkono, a young man widely remembered for standing against the ‘EndSars’ protest generated mixed reactions after the circumstances surrounding his death went viral across various social media platforms.

The young Barkono, according to widely circulated reports, died while engaging in sexual activity in an undisclosed hotel in Abuja on Saturday. The reports quickly garnered traction across various platforms, drawing the attention of former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani.

“Even though the young man Yunusa Yusuf AKA Buhun Barkono reportedly and tragically died in a hotel, he was one of the most audible voices of dissent and campaigner for his generation in Abuja city and environs…..” He wrote.
