One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after Dr Netumbo Ndemupelila emerged as the President of Namibia.
His reaction was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday.
In the post that he shared on his official X handle, he said this is the first time a woman will emerge as the President of Namibia.
Senator Shehu Sani stated that the emergence of Ndemupelila as the President of Namibia is a significant milestone in Africa’s democratic history.
The former Kaduna lawmaker stated that she has been an ardent fighter for freedom and a champion for the oppressed. Shehu Sani said her election will herald a new chapter and opportunity for Namibia.
